Nymphaea

Nymphaea is based on recordings of electrical activity from white waterlilies, Nymphaea alba, growing in the waters of lake Grässjön in Sunnemo, Sweden. The electrical signals of the waterlilies are transmitted through modular synthesizers and dictates melodies, notes and rhythms in the music. The electrical signals also provide cues for video editing. The waterlilies are also portrayed through detailed graphite drawings.
